Workshop: Embroidery Hoop Clock

In this hands-on session, you’ll transform an embroidery hoop into a unique wall clock using a selection of coloured buttons, coordinated to suit your personal style or interior colour scheme. Whether you're after something bright and cheerful or more subtle and elegant, they'll have a wide range of donated buttons to choose from – keeping perfectly good materials out of landfill and giving them a new life.

You’ll be guided step-by-step by Sheila through:

• Positioning your design using a provided template to ensure your buttons mark the hours accurately
• Strengthening your chosen fabric with interfacing for a professional finish
• Hand sewing your button ‘numbers’ securely
• Using a hot glue gun to fix elements in place safely
• Assembling your clock mechanism for a working, one-of-a-kind timepiece

This workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike. All materials will be provided, including pre-loved fabric, buttons, and clock parts. Just bring your creativity!
