As part of Scottish Archaeology Month and Doors Open Day, you can find out more about Scotland’s fascinating prehistoric rock art by visiting Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust’s community excavation near Aberfeldy. Join one of the Open Day site tours to see examples of 5000 year-old rock carvings, and learn what our community team has discovered during the dig.
Site tours are free, but places are limited and must be booked in advance. Each site tour lasts about 1-1.5 hours and involves a short walk along grassy tracks and a field. Please do not bring dogs.
Tour times are (return times are approximate):
10.00am-11.30am
12.30pm-2.00pm
3.30pm-5.00pm
