Walk back in time on the shores of Loch Tummel with Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust’s Community Archaeologist to visit archaeological sites spanning the last 5000 years. Prehistoric rock art and burial monuments, historic settlements and old field systems tell the story of the people that have lived in this area from the earliest farmers to today’s community.
Walks last about 3.5 miles, including some steep ups and downs. The walk is free, but places are limited and need to be booked in advance. There is a £3 pay and display parking charge at the start of the walk.
Please do not bring dogs. You can book your place on Eventbrite before 8 August. After booking, you will be sent details about parking and where to meet the group. For any queries, please contact Tertia.Barnett@pkht.org.uk.
