Perthshire radio presenter wins national award

Lewis Ness, a local radio presenter with Heartland FM, has been included in The Radio Academy ‘30 Under 30’,

The Radio Academy ‘30 Under 30’ is an annual list of 30 people under the age of 30 who have shown exceptional tenacity, talent and a proven trajectory in radio and audio.

“To be included in the Radio Academy ‘30 Under 30’ has been a massive achievement”, explains Lewis. “I’ve always been conscious of working on projects that matter to me and ensuring they’re of the highest quality”.

Lewis is also the Head of Production at Heartland FM and was part of the team involved in re-launching the station in April 2024.

“One of the most notable parts of my career so far has been the relaunch of Perthshire radio station, Heartland FM”, said Lewis. “Having the opportunity to launch a radio station in my local area has been great, one that I still enjoy today”.
