The A85 between Crieff and Comrie will be subject to overnight closures from Thursday, 29th January to Tuesday, 3rd February.

The carriageway improvements will take place on Thursday, Sunday and Monday night's between 7pm and 6am and are expected to be completed by the morning of Tuesday, 3 February. These works will cover a 250m section of the road east of Comrie Croft.

The road will be open as normal from 6am each day, with a speed restriction of 30mph in place as there will be a temporary road surface with no markings. There will also be a lane closure with temporary traffic lights in place between 6am and 7pm on Monday, 2nd February.

Access through the works site for emergency services will be maintained at all times.

Euan Scott, BEAR Scotland's North West Representative, said:

“Our teams are committed to executing these works quickly and with safety as our top priority. We extend our gratitude to the local community and road users for their patience while we complete the improvements.

“To minimise delays, we recommend that motorists plan their journeys in advance by consulting the Traffic Scotland website for real-time travel updates.”
